Wavelength Accuracy is the parameter which shows the exact wave is coming or not which we set in the instrument.
To validate this we use Holmium Oxide or Didymium Filter, with this we check the closeness between the measured wavelength value and the true wavelength.
It is known as the stability of the wavelength measurement after some time. To check this we use Holmium Oxide or Didymium Filter in the spectrophotometer.
To validate the Baseline Flatness of the Spectrophotometer, we have to scan air in the absorbance Mode and note the highest and lowest deflection in the absorbance unit
Use Absorbance Spectral Filters or ICUMSA Filters to validate the Absorbance Accuracy of the Spectrophotometer. If the measured reading will be closer than the True value then the instrument is working fine.
